Google Introduces new feature to help monitor your Google Account activity

According to Andreas Tuerk, Product Manager in a March 28 blogpost, Google has introduced a new feature called Account Activity

This feature will allow you track how you have been using your Google account across many of Google's services. You can view devices and locations where you've logged in, what browsers and/or platforms you've used to do so and what authentication changes may have been made to your account. You can also view stats and trends in the emails you've sent and received, type of searches you've conducted and your top queries. So if you notice sign-ins from countries where you haven’t been or devices you’ve never owned, you can change your password immediately and sign up for the extra level of security provided by 2-step verification

If you sign up, each month you will be sent a link to a password-protected report with insights into your signed-in use of Google services.

Google hopes this feature will help people better understand and manage their information on Google.

C'mon. Give it a try and tell us what you think.
